The 29:th Swedish Mechanics Days were organised in Lund on 10-12 June 2026 and we thank all speakers and other participants who contributed to making the conference a success!
We look back on three days of interesting presentations, stimulating discussion, good food and dito company. In particular, the traditional Odqvist lecture by Staffan Lundström of Luleå Technical University and the plenary lectures by Elena Gutierrez Farewik, Stefan Lindström and Clara M. Velte opened our eyes to porous media flow, human movement biomechanics, fatigue and unstable turbulence. We are already looking forward to the next Swedish Mechanics Days and wish the organisers at Linköping University all the best in their preparation!
